Physical Media – Pulp Fiction 4K Review

Pulp Fiction has made its way to 4K/UHD, complete with a fantastic-looking steel book and brand new artwork. The steel case features an insert for a digital code and shows an animated Vince and Mia busting a move on the dance floor, while the backside highlights the meal they shared at Jack Rabbit Slims. And that’s not all – open up the case to reveal facial portraits of both Vince and Mia in the throes of their iconic dance scene. its not just the steel book that looks great but also the standard copy of this 4K disc. Pulp Fiction is a physical media disc you have to own!

But it’s not just the packaging that’s gotten an upgrade. Pulp Fiction now boasts a 2160p UHD 4K image with Dolby Vision, which takes the picture quality to a whole new level. While it may not be the ultimate demo-worthy 4K release, the improvements in clarity, depth, and detail are absolutely stunning. You’ll be able to see every stitch and pattern in those famous black suits, every bead of sweat and individual facial hair. And let’s not forget about the food – the detail in the bubbles of that five-dollar milkshake is enough to make your mouth water.

But it’s not just about the visuals – the previous lossless DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio track is still in place and sounds just as excellent as ever. It’s a shame there isn’t a new Dolby Atmos or DTS:X mix, but with a movie this good, it’s hard to complain.

So what are you waiting for? Grab your physical media copy of Pulp Fiction on 4K/UHD and get ready to twist your way into movie history!
